Veterinarian
Dr. Ian Kelly received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Auburn University in 2017. Dr. Kelly has always had a passion for veterinary medicine, beginning his career as a veterinary technician before realizing his dream of becoming a veterinarian. To him, veterinary medicine combines the three things that bring him the most joy – pets, people and medicine.
Throughout vet school, he spent time working at The Pittsburgh Zoo, but found that he missed the personal connection that comes with getting to know pet parents and caring for their beloved family members. We were very excited when Dr. Kelly moved to Dunwoody and agreed to join us in 2023.
When he’s not working, Dr. Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Dr. Kate Kelly (also a veterinarian) and their fur family, Belle, their Great Dane, and Moose, their energetic mutt. Together they enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, SCUBA, snowboarding, and all activities outdoors.
