Growing up as a military brat, Dr. Pinsky was born in Panama and she was raised throughout the US and Panama. It was there that she found her passion for wildlife and exotic animals. She has known, as long as she can remember, that she wanted to be a veterinarian. After receiving her DVM, she worked at Emory Animal Hospital for a few years before coming to Dunwoody Animal Medical Center in 1999.

Dr. Pinsky is happily married and has one daughter and one son. She lives with a menagerie of animals including six dogs, two cats and three birds. She enjoys traveling, cooking, arts/crafts as well as the beach, boating and fishing. Her favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is helping and educating new puppy and kitten owners as well as guiding pet parents through hard times
