Hi, my name is Dr. Laura Gould, and I am a Veterinarian at Dunwoody Animal Medical Center. I am passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care and building lasting relationships with my patients and their families.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, volunteering as a Master Gardener, playing Mahjong, and reading here in Dunwoody, GA. At home I share my life with three dogs — Ruthie, Bader, and Atticus — and one cat named Taz.
Education
I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis in 1999.

I am an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association (GVMA).
Work History
I have been practicing as an Associate Veterinarian since 1999 and have been a proud member of the Dunwoody Animal Medical Center team since 2016. I hold USDA Veterinary Accreditation since 1999 and earned my Fear Free certification in 2022, reflecting my commitment to low-stress, patient-centred care.
